For women seeking time to relax and reflect
on their lives from a spiritual perspective
in the company of other women

Light in the Darkness

It’s a Holly, Jolly Christmas (or Kwanzaa, Solstice, Hannukah, …)!

Many holiday songs support the myth that Winter Holidays are all happy, relaxing times with family members smiling around the dinner table. The sacred celebrations of this season tell us differently but our culture is firmly entrenched in the consumer perspective.

Instead of being consumed by cultural messages …
  • Set aside time to breathe and connect.
  • Make space for feelings, thoughts, images, and memories that speak of both dark and light.
  • Find spiritual support for the grief, frustration, loneliness, and anxiety that can come knocking at your door during the holidays.

Evening includes:
Music ~ Meditation ~ Conversation
Ritual ~ Body Prayer

Facilitator:
   Barb McRae, MDiv., Spiritual Director

Fee: $15     Registration

Wear comfortable clothes.
